May Should Be Marvelous

As a homebuilder, you know the importance of sales.   And you know that sometimes are better than others.  Here are some reasons why May can and should be one of the best months of the year for you and your business, and maybe the best month of sales in years.

 

  1. May is always one of, if not the, best months of the year!  It was the best month of new homes sales across the country in 2014.
  2. There are five full weekends this month.
  3. Interest rates are at a very low 3.75% on a 30 yr. fixed rate.
  4. Unemployment fell to its lowest rate since 2008 last week and the DOW soared.  Buyers feel confident.
  5. 2015 is on a strong sales trend, higher than we've experienced in eight years.  The market is finally back within range of one million annual starts.

 

So, with all of these reasons considered, you know that this month has to be your time to shine.  Every model home should look its best and inventory should be perfectly cleaned and skillfully marketed.  Sales people should have their shoes shined and their game face on, arriving early every morning and staying well past closing time.  This can and should be the biggest month in years!
