Tesla Model S to be Grand Prize for New Home Star Champion

Written by Star Report | Jun 21, 2016

Chicago, IL - This summer, Rio De Janeiro isn't the only place hosting the 2016 Summer Games. Corporate athletes, trained in the sport of selling new homes under New Home Star, will be competing in the first large-scale sales and marketing competition of its kind. The New Home Star 2016 Summer Games are Olympic-inspired and purposed with recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance by the organization's leading sales professionals.

"This competition encompasses 478 'athletes' in 34 markets vying for 30 medals in 10 events," says Chris Laskowski, Marketing Manager for New Home Star. "Most importantly it has one goal: To help our residential builder clients sell more homes at higher profits during these summer months."

Events include a '30-Day Long Jump', measuring the highest sales volume in a 30-day period, a 'Prospect Relay' that generates new traffic by marketing to potential buyers and a 'Customer Service Pole Vault' which honors the best customer service letter received during the duration of the games. Details on all ten events can be found in the contest brochure http://newhomestar.com/2016summergames.pdf.

While a gold, silver and bronze medal will be awarded for each event, the contest's biggest buzz is centered around the grand prize: The opportunity to drive a brand new Tesla Model S. "We chose the Tesla due to its emergence as a monumental game changer in the automobile sector. Like Tesla, New Home Star has become a catalyst of innovation and sales excellence in our industry," says company founder, David M. Rice. "We promise our builder clients that we'll give them the best sales team in the industry, so it makes sense to give our sales counselors the best car of the century."

The New Home Star 2016 Summer Games began on June 1st and will end on August 31st. For contest photos, highlights and updates, visit New Home Star's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/NewHomeStar
