New Home Star Hosts Carnival-Themed National Teleblitz

By Star Report 2 min read

Chicago, IL - New Home Star hosted its fully virtual national call night to reach out to prospects, set appointments, and make instant cash. The event took place on August 20, boasting a carnival theme full of fun and surprises. To increase engagement and highlight this year’s carnival theme, New Home Star’s Corporate staff surprised attendees with hosts dressed in carnival-themed costumes, unique prizes, and a dunk tank, to name a few.

“This year’s event was a blast,” says New Home Star President, Tom Chisholm. “While participating in a dunk tank usually wouldn’t be my first choice, I’d do it over and over again to see the excitement that rippled throughout the organization.” Sales agents were invited to tune into the Zoom live stream, led by the Corporate Support Office, to dial for dollars as they reached out to their prospect list via phone call. New Home Star’s sales enablement platform, New Home Connect™, acted as the hub where sales agents, managers, and all other attendees were able to follow along with the fun and log their appointments in real-time.

“Our National Telblitz is something I look forward to every year,” says VP of Organizational Development, Keith McKinney. “This evening full of engagement brings our organization together like no other. The constant encouragement and support seen from so many individuals continually strengthens our workplace culture and team bonds, even through the virtual setting,” says McKinney. “Our team members are some of the most determined people I know, and it’s inspiring to see how many appointments set up during this event result in sales in the end.” This successful event resulted in 398 appointments, surpassing the national goal of 300. New Home Star plans to continue hosting the National Teleblitz events each year as a way to keep team members engaged nationwide and provide support to individuals’ selling journeys.
