March Madnezz Meets New Home Sales

By Star Report 2 min read

National sales contest has 32 teams competing in an elimination bracket.

Chicago, IL - New Home Star just kicked-off their most exciting sales competition of the year, March Madnezz. The NCAA-inspired sales contest challenges agents to sell as many homes as possible over a five-week span. Hundreds of agents across the country are divided into 32 teams to compete in an elimination-style bracket for the chance to be crowned this year’s March Madnezz Champions.

The contest which runs from March 1st to April 5th was designed to push the limits of all who participate with an end-goal of maximizing performance during the start of the spring season. All efforts in this competition lead to the grand prize of a VIP trip to the fabulous Las Vegas accompanied with airfare, the finest dining on the strip and tickets to see the world-famous Cirque du Soleil.

After a successful contest kick-off this past week, Sales Directors company-wide are already seeing how great of an impact this competition is having on sales and the general attitude of their teams. “We chose to launch this kind of contest during the peak selling season in order to maximize sales and create substantial motivation for our people,” says Nate Amidon, Sales Leader in West Florida.

The entirety of this contest was a corporate driven initiative paired with extensive support for all NHS Directors. “Our goal is to prepare all creative aspects so that Directors can focus on pushing sales in the field and also to ensure a consistent experience nationwide,” says company Founder, David Rice. Though the end goal may be to maximize new home sales, it proves to be much more than that for those involved. It serves as a culture-building initiative with both builders and sales associates in mind, ultimately creating value that is priceless.

In the exciting buzz of the official kick-off, a wave of team videos rushed in and increased the hype for all participating in this unique contest. Click here to watch a video on the science behind these contests.
