7 Things You Shouldn't Miss at the 2017 International Builders' Show

By Star Report 2 min read

Walking into the International Builders' Show is like walking into the Disneyland of home building. This global event, bringing in top suppliers and distributors that feature the latest industry technology, hosts 550,000 square feet of exhibits. Where to begin? As you start planning, check out these upcoming booths featured at IBS Orlando in less than one week:

1) Panasonic's Next Generation Smart Home System

Booth W3016 will transport you to the future with its leading smart home technology. A unique security system and "fully-customizable" features make the Panasonic exhibit a 'must' for your IBS experience.

2) True Refrigeration

Hosting the next big gathering has never been so easy -- or fun! At booth W871, True Refrigeration will be showcasing its latest: a compact Butler Bar that encompasses a full pantry, 'cocktail suite', beverage dispenser, ice machine, wine storage and fridge all in one. (Oh, and it's under five-feet tall.)

3) LP Building Products

A seasoned IBS attraction, LP Building Products continues to bring innovative features to the show. This year's newbies include the LP® ArmorStrand™ and FlameBlock® I-Joists, both of which are game-changers for new home construction. Want to learn more? Visit booth W2900.

4) BDX

Gain insight into home building marketing and technology at booth W5071. This year, BDX is bringing "3D Matterport tours", a virtual reality lounge and more!

5) ODL

Five new designs will premiere with ODL. Dedicated to providing homeowners with energy-efficient offerings, the company's new doorglass options will fit nearly any home's architectural structure. Make a pit-stop at booths S1128 and S1800!

6) Island Stone

If it's finishes you're seeking, make your way to booth S4466. Island Stone's modern tiles can make a home's finish options shine. They pride themselves in creating beautiful brickwork "made of natural stone [that] can be laid in a number of ways for floor or wall coverings."

7) Trex
Get the 411 on this eco-friendly organization. Booth W3440 will detail Trex's leading deck materials that include their signature aluminum railing and more.
